Here's a tip Ashley = if you don't want to appear in Google results, why not just try being honest for once?
UPDATE Nov 2014: I write st@mps so as not to appear in Google searches for legitimate st@mp selling businesses
*** There's a seller on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/abtrading0796 going by the name of 'Bob' but was undoubtedly the voice of Ashley Hardy, identified by his stutter I have heard all too often before ***
It just got interesting.

1st March 2014 :
A threat from Ashley Hardy, how exciting!
(with sincere apologies to the chap who sent me the Facebook info about Jane who I mistakenly identified):
2nd March 2014:
More threats from Ashley Hardy, hooray!
Please.. feel free to ask them for their views Ashley.
They will tell you what a horrible experience they had because of you and your thieving ways, and all about the stress you've caused them. That they were kind enough to help a random stranger (me) out is testament to their good character.
Let me suggest a website for you to "expose" their good nature:
www.RandomStrangersHelpOtherRandomStrangerOutToTrackDownThievingConman.com
Catchy, isn't it?
When you steal people's money, they get angry and want recompense. Shocking, isn't it? Did you think you could steal £50,000+ without any repercussions? Did your time in jail teach you nothing at all?
p.s. if you used a valid email address for your hilarious threats then you might actually get a response from me or them. Idiot.

Please get in touch if you have any information that may help. If you worked for either Ashley or Jane then I'd love to hear from you. Please be prepared to PROVE your claim as I have already had Hardy use several aliases to try and get me to post fake information about him - yes, he really is that much of a loser.

IMPORTANT UPDATE
In January 2014 Hardy shut the website (or it was shut by the authorities).
It is critically important that you immediately contact your bank about your payment. In the case of PayPal you must do this within 45 days. This is part of Hardy's scam.. to string you along with stories and excuses for so long that you then don't even qualify for a refund from your bank/PayPal.
If your PayPal is funded by your credit card, it can get complicated - so get in touch with BOTH your bank and PayPal immediately.
If you paid by credit or debit card then your payment will be refunded
but only if you contact your bank in the allowed time frame.
Other payment methods will not be so lucky I'm afraid - best to read to the bottom and decide on your next course of action.
If you want the new contact number for Hardy & co. it's:
07922 313570
(this is public info - it's on Twitter)
(although she'll deny it)
UPDATE - this number has now deactivated its voice mail (or it's full). If you call and get a beep-beep-beep just keep trying.
The number is legit & working and Ashley Hardy has already emailed me pretending to be someone who worked for him,
to get the number changed.
Jane Clarke-O'Neill drives a Peugeot 207 GT CC.

Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk is/was a UK "business" that claimed to sell st@mps cheaper than the post office.
It is/was a scam.
Based solely on the correspondence I have received, the scam may have netted more than £50,000. Given I have only received contact from some of the victims, who knows what the actual amount was.
Ashley Hardy, a con-man who previously destroyed his wife and childrens' lives, and got sent to prison, runs/ran Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk from the address:
9B
Gibbs Reed Farm
Ticehurst
TN5 7HE
which is also known as:
A P H Ltd
Unit 9
Gibbs Reed Farm
Pashley Road
Ticehurst
WADHURST
TN5 7HE
He lives at:
2 Gabriel Cottages
Three Leg Cross
Ticehurst
WADHURST
TN5 7HJ
which is less than a mile away from the business address. As of 14th February 2014 he still lives there, but tends to hide when you go and knock the door.
He previously lived at:
30, Court Meadow
Rotherfield
Crowborough
East Sussex
TN6 3LQ
He also runs APHsussex.com which is currently offline.
IN MAY 2013 THE COMPANY TOOK MORE THAN £1,500 OF MY MONEY.
They proceeded to spend 3 months lying to me and my bank about what had happened.
AFTER MORE THAN 3 MONTHS TRYING, I GOT MY MONEY BACK BUT ONLY ONCE I MENTIONED
HARDY'S (ADULT) CHILDREN TO HIM.
CLASSY, RIGHT?

I spent more than 3 months trying to get my money back but Ashley Hardy did not return it.
I was going to take my claim against Ashley Hardy and Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk to the Small Claims Court in order to win my money (and costs) back.

You might also be considering doing this. Please note that it's a long and stressful process and you will have to pay fees. It would also be a good idea to utilise a lawyer.
The real problem is that, even if you win your case (highly likely) actually getting the money back from Ashley Hardy will be rather difficult. Not impossible, but difficult. You'd have to prove he had assets, and then probably get a bailiff involved. The costs would really mount up.
Here are some things you might like to know about Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk and Ashley Hardy:
Why does Hardy do this scam?
It's hardly a clever scam, is it?
One theory is that he is relying on the majority of customers not pursuing refunds (it can take a long time to do the official process via a bank).
Another theory is that it's like a "ponzi" scheme.. he is using money coming in to send out some st@mps to some customers.
Another theory is that he builds up trust with customers through small orders then waits for a bigger order before keeping the money and not sending out any st@mps.
My theory is that Ashley Hardy is just a "bastard". Read the article at the bottom of this page to learn what Ashley Hardy did to his wife and two young children in 2002 - hardly the actions of a respectable man, right?
If you have the mis-fortune to meet or speak to Hardy, it's clear he thinks highly of himself.
Refund Options
If you have paid by credit card (and usually a debit card, but it's less clear cut) then you are entitled to a refund - just contact your bank. It can take a while, but you will get your money back. The time limit for doing this is usually 6 months. Hardy tries to string you along with as many excuses as he can think of because of this set time limit on being able to claim a refund from your bank. He's just trying to "run the clock down" so that you cannot then get a refund.
If you have paid by cheque, or direct transfer, I'm afraid it doesn't look good unless you are prepared to visit Ashley in person. And even then you should know that law probably isn't on your side.

Here's a comment that a customer put on Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk's Facebook page that was quickly removed by Ashley Hardy:
Here's a few emails I have been sent this site went live in September 2013:
Oh yes, and then there's this article from 2002..............
(location: Rotherfield.. mentioned in the article.. is a few miles away from the business address for Discountedstampsforpostage.co.uk):
And this article too:
Oh yes, and then there's this article from 1996..............
And this little detail from 1998..............
So, any reasonable person can conclude from the evidence that Ashley Hardy is a bit of a shit. As for why he behaves in this way - who knows!?
So, what do we know about Ashley Hardy?
Well, we know he screwed over his wife "Judith" in 2002.
In Rotherfield.
And we know they had 2 kids, who were teenagers at the time. 16 and 14. So they're now 27 and 25 (or 28 and 26).
His children are called Adam J Hardy and Jessica A Hardy:
I've clarified the information about Ashley Hardy's adult children (which is all public) after a person called Adrian Hardy emailed me on the 10th February (about 5 months or so after this site first went live).
TO BE VERY VERY CLEAR: ASHLEY'S CHILDREN (AND EX-WIFE) ARE NOT INVOLVED IN THE ST@MPS SCAM.
The public records show that there is another Adam J Hardy who lives within 4 miles of Judith Hardy, and is in the same age range deduced above. HOWEVER.. Adrian Hardy insists that there is no relation and it's just a coincidence, so we must believe him.
The 2nd solicitor's letter (by email) accused me of defaming the solicitors in question. Since I hadn't named them, or even insinuated who they were, it's unclear how they could have been defamed, but that's another matter.
Some more stuff.
Ashley Hardy knows a woman called Jane Clarke-O'Neill. He may or may not have had intimate relations with her. We just do not know. What we do know is that she supplied the PayPal account through which the st@mps scam was run.
You can email her:
janeclarkeoneill@yahoo.co.uk
Jane Clarke-O'Neill?
Her and Hardy have been seen together at the address in Three Leg Cross. Jane has 2 children that according to an alleged former employee "have nothing to do with her".
Critically, she has a PayPal account through which Hardy runs/ran the st@mps scam. Since the email address for the PayPal account is the same email address Jane corresponds with me, it is reasonable to conclude she was aware of the scam:

Taking pictures from a public highway isn't illegal Jane, and it wasn't me who took them - but that's another matter.
Jane was in Uckfield as of the 26th January 2014.. you guessed it.. that's just around the corner from the addresses mentioned at the start.
Why not give her a call? Helpfully you can find Jane's number on Twitter. Because she posted it herself. In the public domain:
07922 313570
(she'll deny everything of course, but the evidence above is rather clear)

On the 17th January 2014 Jane registered a new company (which has a 2nd URL too)- neither site is live yet:
There's also a Resident's Association who one assumes are unaware of the sort of people who have moved into their area:
Here's Jane on Facebook stalking her son:
and also on Twitter too:
